Despite the fact that pursuing a college degree can set a person back thousands of dollars, it is nonetheless essential, primarily because being able to finish such can provide better life and career opportunities. For this reason, I already looked for scholarships and grants that I could use for my postsecondary education. The Tall Clubs International (TCI) scholarship is one of the more popular unusual scholarships that students pursuing a college degree can avail these days. For my part, I just entered “unusual scholarships” on Google and the websites listed on the results page. I also came across websites that aggregated these wacky scholarships. To get these scholarships you need to pass their strict qualifications.

Each scholarship provider has its own guidelines as to application, details of which are usually found on their respective websites. Occasionally, you have to take part and win a competition to get these scholarships. As in the case of a $5,000 scholarship awarded to the student who wears the most creative ensemble made entirely out of a particular brand of duct tape to the prom.

Despite the fact that these student financial aids have very peculiar and precise qualifications, it is quite likely to be eligible in several of them. At the same time, they can be used with other financial student aid from federal sources to further bring down school-related expenses.
